Got some great shots of the girls the other day...
made me realize how much i miss my camera and photography.
hmmm...i need to invest in a new camera. i'm thinking digital...but a really good one.
any suggestions???

thankyou so much for your love and taking the time to pour out some of your heart in that comment. it is quite amazing how connected we are despite being over the computer. i love blogs because they are open books. your words encouraged me and it really means a lot. thankyou for your prayers.and i hope you find a good cam. i wouldn't mind getting one in the future as well. :)
well, I'm a dedicated Nikon user, but the honest truth is Canons are better digitally right now than Nikons (thought I'm hoping in time, we'll make a comeback), if you're looking for an SLR. Amy has a good low end pro Canon, and Joshua's brother has a mid-range pro camera.
You can always upgrade. I bought my D70 for $1000, which seemed insane, but after one portrait gig and a a wedding, it was paid for. I'd rather invest in lenses right now before I upgrade my body -- and the tech is advancing all the time, so there will always be a "better" camera.
